I'm trying to restore some files from our backups and am having no luck. We're using BrightStor ARCServe Backup 11.5 r2 and File System Devices (external hard drives connected via USB). When I run a Scan on the FSD, the sessions are recognized.

Avg Invalid Update Control Ctf File

When I run a Merge, it fails. I scour the log for the merge job and cannot figure out why it is failing, but something is definitely not right. Here's an example: Session 9, which is a full backup of a folder on one of our servers, is 160GB on disk (verified by the size of the related.CFT file on the FSD). However, the merge only 'merges' 2GB of data (but does report 160GB on disk!), and when I go to Restore by Session, the session appears EMPTY! Is there anything I can do??

I'm at a loss and would really love to access these backups if at all possible! Originally there was no free disk space (something like 48k free), so I moved the last session file to another disk which freed 1.53 GB thinking this might be the problem. The merge operation still reports as failed. I've attached a text file that contains the Merge Job Details and Job Log. Note the first bunch of sessions, all the 'Full (Clear Archive Bit)' sessions. The 'Total Size (Disk)' is much much larger than the 'Total Size (Media)'.

In the case of the very first session, it reports the 'Total Size (Disk)' as 19,458.82 MB, but the 'Total Size (Media)' is only 2.81 MB. However, if I browse the FSD and view the properties of the file S0000001.CTF, it's reported to be 17.2 GB in size. I copied HEADER. Interpol Turn On The Bright Lights Torrent. CTF and one of the session files (the session I'm most interested in) over to a SMB share on our NAS.

Title: How to backup File System Device files (*.CTF) as flat files in a backup job with ARCserve Backup (ASBU)?

I ran the Scan utility and it recognized the one session. I ran the Merge utility and it, supposedly, successfully merged the one session. It looks like the problem is still present. Total Size (Disk): 169,706.37 MB Total Size (Media): 26. Electromagnetic Bomb Pdf Ppt. 68 MB But yet, the session file in question is ~155 GB in size. When doing a Restore by Session, It looks like I'm able to restore some files (which is better than seeing the session completely empty), but a lot of stuff is missing.specifically the stuff I want.haha. I tried copying HEADER.CTF and the session file from above to an external HD (I happened to find a 250GB drive in our parts stash).
