That is such an old scanner that your chances of getting it to work on Windows 7 are slim and none; that being said, here is a link to the driver page: My advice to you would be to look into either a stand alone scanner (new) or an all-in-one printer; Canon makes several very nice ones. I own an MP600 that I am very pleased with; a photo printer/scanner/copier, and it uses separate ink tanks for cyan, magenta and yellow, as well as photo black and black. The nice thing about this feature is that if you printing pictures with a lot of blue, for example, you simply replace the cyan cartridge when it is empty, and you are not throwing away the magenta and yellow ink left in a tri-color cartridge. It also has lower priced single color cartridges, although they add up to about the same for a tri-color. (I can get each color for about $11 USD, whereas my HP tri-color cartridges run about $38.

However, as I pointed out, I am only replacing each color as needed, rather than throwing away ink. Right now, the Canon Pixma MP640 can be had for about $150. Posted on Mar 05, 2010. I got my Agfa Snapscan 1212U scanner to work fine with Windows 7. All I did was to install the XP Agfa Scanwise 2.0.0.9 software FIRST (available from Agfa website). Then I went to Devices and Printers, right-clicked on the 1212U and chose 'Troubleshoot' - Windows then found and installed the driver automatically. Although Agfa no longer supports their scanners with drivers and software updates, some Vista and Windows 7 users say they are still able to install the XP software and get it to run.
